To establish a university of national and international standing dedicated to advancing higher learning, research, and professional practice in Alternative Naturopathy and integrative health sciences, contributing to the intellectual, social, and sustainable development of Sri Lanka and the global community through academic excellence and institutional integrity in accordance with the principles of the Universities Act No. 16 of 1978.
The University shall, consistent with the objectives and provisions of the Universities Act No. 16 of 1978:
Provide and promote higher education of international standard in Alternative Naturopathy and related health sciences through structured undergraduate, postgraduate, and professional programmes.
Undertake and disseminate research that contributes to the advancement of knowledge, evidence-based practice, and innovation in natural and integrative medicine.
Develop graduates who are academically competent, ethically grounded, and socially responsible, capable of contributing to national health systems and community well-being.
Foster academic freedom, institutional autonomy, and a culture of critical inquiry, consistent with recognized standards of quality assurance and governance.
Promote collaboration with national and international institutions for academic exchange, research development, and capacity building in higher education.
